Windows Prevents StopSign Install

The trouble you are experiencing with our software is a sign of a Windows issue dealing with the Windows registry and the permissions on registry keys. Windows is keeping StopSign Anti-Virus, and possibly other programs on your computer, from functioning properly. You will continue to have these problems if the issue is not repaired.
Please read and follow the steps below to correct the issue.
Note: You will need to uninstall and then reinstall the software after completing the steps below.
Text in UPPERCASE or "phrases in quotes" indicate text you will see on your computer screen.
Please print these instructions before continuing.
STEP 1 - Resetting Permissions
1) Click the link below and select SAVE. When you are asked where to save the file, select DESKTOP. When the download is complete you will have a new icon on your desktop.

2) Double-click the new icon on your desktop titled "reset_hkcr_permissions.exe".
3) A black window will open, and when the program is done, it will close automatically. It will take several minutes for the program to finish running.
Once the above 2 steps have been completed, you are ready to UNINSTALL and REINSTALL StopSign
