StopSign Errors during Scan -

StopSign not in Program List

Occasionally, third party security software may detect and remove portions of eAcceleration software. When this occurs, you may receive a "fatal error" message when you try to run a scan.

When security software scans it is looking for three components - adware, spyware, and viruses/trojans. To cure any of these threats - the security software will have their own special cleaning tools.

When other security programs scan a system with StopSign, they may see the StopSign cleaning tools - and think they are viruses or infections. When this happens, the conflicting security software will remove the StopSign cleaners - causing errors when StopSign begins to scan.

For this reason - we recommend using only one security software - StopSign - to protect your system from viruses and other threats.
