Install – Download StopSign


NOTE:  All eAcceleration Software unless otherwise noted  require

  • Processor: 800 MHz or higher
  • Platform: Windows® 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7

Windows  95, 98 and ME are NO LONGER SUPPORTED by StopSign or Microsoft.

  • Memory: 256 MB RAM, 512 MB recommended


Before You Begin:

Due to the nature of security software design, we recommend you uninstall or disable other similar programs (anti-virus, firewalls, etc.) to ensure your system runs as efficiently as possible. Uninstalling all previous security software will minimize conflicts or system slowdowns during and after installation.

CONFLICTING SOFTWARE:

To determine if you have conflicting software, go to your Control Panel.

1. Select START > CONTROL PANEL > ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS.

NOTE: Common security software to look for: Norton, Symantec, McAfee, Panda, Zone Labs or ZoneAlarm, and PC-Cillin. Spybot Search and Destroy, SpyCatcher (Tenebril), SpyFerret (OnlinePCFix), SpyFighter (SG-Soft), SpyHunter (Enigma), Spyware Anonymizer, Spyware Remover (BulletproofSoft), Spyware Stopper, Spyware Stormer, Spyzooka, Stopzilla, Trend Micro Anti-Spyware 3.0 (Formerly SpySubtract), ZoneAlarm (ZoneLabs)

NOTE: If you encounter any problems while uninstalling software, please contact the software manufacturer for support.

2. In the "Add or Remove Programs" window, locate and click on security software currently installed on your computer.

3. Click the CHANGE/REMOVE button.

CAUTION: If asked to restart your computer, close all programs (except Add or Remove Programs) before restarting.


4. Follow any prompts, and restart if necessary.



TO INSTALL STOPSIGN:

1. To begin the install process - CLICK HERE.

2. Click the INSTALL.

3. Click YES (or OPEN) in the download confirmation box.

4. Accept the End User License Agreement (EULA), if prompted.

5. When prompted, type in your email address and confirm your email address.


NOTE: Be sure to use the email address that is currently associated with your account.

6. In the box that opens, you will have a choice of selecting:

REPLACE COMPUTER - Click this button if you have an existing eAcceleration StopSign Membership and are reinstalling your software.

UPGRADE ACCOUNT - Click this button if you are protecting an additional computer (add a license.)

I would just like to comment on how exceedingly helpful that Charmagne was to me today. I was getting frustrated trying to activate my 2 yr program and was particularly impressed with her patience and knowledge in helping me resolve the problem. You can be proud to have her on your staff. She is a fine example of what anyone loves to encounter when having difficulty such as I did. Thank you Charmagne for your kindness. Janet B.
