FireFox Tabbed Browsing

 

Mozilla Firefox offers users tabbed browsing. Tabbed browsing lets you open multiple web pages at once without opening additional sessions of your browser. You can quickly navigate among open web pages.


To open a new tab:

Press CTRL + T.

OR

Right-click an existing tab and choose New Tab

A new tab opens in the same browser window. You can type a new URL or search for another page.


To add a "New Tab" button to your browser toolbar -

1. Right Click the Mozilla Firefox Toolbar.

2. Choose Customize

3. Locate the Icon for NEW TAB - and drag the icon to your Mozilla Firefox Toolbar.


To set multiple web pages to open when you start Firefox:

1. In multiple tabs, open the pages you want to have open automatically as your home pages when Firefox starts.

2. Click TOOLS > OPTIONS.

3. In the MAIN section under Home Page, click USE CURRENT PAGES.

4. Click OK.
