Scanner Freezes/Scanner appears to not be Cleaning

Using Priority Scan

The StopSign Threat Scanner may take a few minutes to several hours to complete depending on how long it has been since you have last scanned - and how many threats have been encountered.

If you feel your scanner has "frozen" and you have allowed ample time for the scan to complete, we recommed you run a special tool called PRIORITY SCAN. In this special mode, the Threat Scanner will run before any other programs have a chance to load. This will allow our software to remove some malware programs that run in the background without your knowledge.

1) To run a
PRIORITY SCAN CLICK HERE.

2) At the download prompt, click the RUN (or OPEN) button.

Alternately, click SAVE (remember where you saved the file), then double-click the file.

3) Restart your computer.

4) When your computer starts, log in as usual. You will see a black screen for about twenty seconds, then our scanner should start.

5) Allow our software to complete the Priority Scan. If you are prompted to restart your computer, click YES.
