Active Membership compared to Free Trial. 

An Activated StopSign membership will fully scan for various threats on your computer, including viruses, spyware and other malicious code that can affect your computer's performance. Upon completion of the scan, the StopSign Threat Scanner will automatically begin the cleaning process to cure threats found on your system.

If you are a Member, but your StopSign Software indicates you have to pay for a cure, your Software Membership may be expired, or you may simply need to re-activate your account.

A Free Scan detects the presence of viruses, spyware and other malicious code on your computer. You will see the results of the scan at its completion. Threats are not automatically cured from your system. If your computer is infected, you will have the opportunity to purchase a cure to remove infections found.
