Uninstall, Reinstall - Individual StopSign Components

 

On occasion, it may be necessary to uninstall and reinstall only one componenent (PopUp Blocker, Firewall, OnAccess Scan) of the StopSign Software Suite. If you need to correct a problem install with any one component, please follow the instructions below:

UNINSTALL STEPS:

1. Click START > PROGRAMS > EACCELERATION > ADD OR REMOVE PRODUCTS.

2. With REMOVE EACCELERATION PRODUCTS selected, click NEXT.

3. Check the box next to the StopSign software you wish to uninstall. You may have to expand the menu by clicking the plus signs to see the product you want.

4. Click OK in the uninstalling installation complete dialog. When asked to confirm the uninstall - click YES.

5. If prompted, restart your computer.

REINSTALL STEPS

1. Click START > PROGRAMS > EACCELERATION > ADD OR REMOVE PRODUCTS.

2. With ADD EACCELERATION PRODUCTS selected, click NEXT.

3. Check the box next to the StopSign software you wish to uninstall. You may have to expand the menu by clicking the plus signs to see the product you want.

4. Click NEXT.

5. Click OK in the installation complete dialog.

6. If prompted, restart your computer.
