Blocking Windows Messenger 

 

To disable the Microsoft NetSend feature through the StopSign Popup Blocker, please follow these steps:

1) Click START > PROGRAMS > EACCELERATION > EACCELERATION SOFTWARE STATION.

2) Click StopSign in the "Services" column.

3) Click POPUP BLOCKER in the "Features" column.

NOTE: If POPUP BLOCKER STATUS is DISABLED, click TURN ON POPUP BLOCKER.

4) Click POPUP BLOCKER SETTINGS.

5) Check the box next to "DISABLE 'NET SEND' (MESSENGER) POPUP MESSAGES"

6) Click OK

7) Open Internet Explorer and click TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > ADVANCED. Make sure that the box labeled "Enable third-party browser extensions" is checked.

If the "Enable third-party browser extensions" box is not already checked, check it. Then click OK and close and reopen Internet Explorer.
